Your body aches after being spat out onto the forest floor. You look up, but see no sign of the portal that brought you here. Looking around, it appears that you’ve ended up in what seems to be some sort of alien rainforest, with rich violet vegetation and turquoise underbrush. You try to stand up, but fall back down. As you begin to pick yourself back up, a sound off to your right catches your attention. A pink squirrel drops down from the tree and onto the dirt beside you, causing you to jump to your feet. Once you regain your balance, the squirrel asks you if you’re lost. Caught off guard, you simply reply with a nod. He jumps onto the shoulder of your hoodie and starts giving directions. During the long trek, you strike up a very one-sided conversation with him.
“You came here by mistake, didn't you? We have a few of your type every year. I’ll let you know where you need to go to get home, but I can only take you to the edge of the forest.”
Feeling satisfied, you continue to follow the word of the squirrel, until finally reaching the end of the long trek.
